INDIVIDUAL GRIEF COUNSELING

Grief is a universal experience, one that can overwhelm children as well as adults. When you lose a loved one, there are many feelings that may need to be processed – including but not limited to feelings of sorrow, loneliness, anger, guilt, regret, fear, and at times even relief. Throughout therapy clients will be able to learn common reactions to loss, process their thoughts and feelings, gain skills to help them adjust to life without the physical presence of their loved one, learn coping strategies for managing challenging emotions, and find ways to continue to love and honor their loved one(s) in a way that allows them to move forward with life. All of our mental health professionals have received specialized training in grief counseling and trauma and utilize evidence-based therapies to help clients reach their goals and find healing. Our grief counseling services are available for children, adolescents, and adults.

INDIVIDUAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING

Our mental health professionals also offer individual counseling services for non-grief related mental health concerns such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions/adjustments, stress management, and a variety of other challenges. We utilize evidence-based therapies and provide counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults.

“I went through the most traumatic loss of my life and was fortunate enough to have found Kelly’s Grief Center. [My therapist] was able to help me move forward and process my loss. Not only was she my biggest support, but she also gave me the tools that I continue to use on a daily basis. The fact that I didn’t need to worry about insurance and payment was the biggest relief and what enabled me to obtain the services. I am forever grateful to [my therapist] for saving me so I could take care of my kids.”
