Mental Health Professionals
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) who is interested in providing counseling services in addition to supervising licensed professional counselors and/or student interns. This position requires a minimum of 24 direct client hours per week in addition to weekly supervision hours (approximately 1-5 supervision hours per week). The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience providing direct counseling services and at least 2 years of experience providing supervision. Previous experience and interest in providing couples and family counseling is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy as needed
Provide clinical training supervision for licensed professional counselors and/or student interns
Conduct diagnostic psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
Participate in community outreach and events
Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of support groups, or seasonal programs for clients and families
Maintain timely up-to-date documentation utilizing our Electronic Health Record
Attend conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence
Work flexible hours
Work a minimum of either two evenings or one evening and one weekend day
Minimum educational level: Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. A certification in Couples and Family Therapy is ideal. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy that also possess a LPCC-S are encouraged to apply.
Minimum licensure requirements: A valid Ohio LPCC-S license.
ABOUT KELLY'S GRIEF CENTER
Kelly’s Grief Center provides mental health services in a private non-profit setting. We specialize in grief therapy but also treat clients experiencing non-grief related mental health disorders. No client is turned away based on an inability to pay for services. We offer a flexible work environment where you can set your own schedule.
Graduate interns will meet with clients individually, assist in running grief support groups, receive individual supervision and learn non-profit operations. A commitment to two consecutive semesters for the internship is expected.
