Kelly’s Grief Center is always looking for like-minded professionals to join the team. It’s an exciting time to join us as we have moved to a larger location and are always eager to expand our threshold to support more clients and families.

Mental Health Professionals

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) who is interested in providing counseling services in addition to supervising licensed professional counselors and/or student interns. This position requires a minimum of 24 direct client hours per week in addition to weekly supervision hours (approximately 1-5 supervision hours per week). The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience providing direct counseling services and at least 2 years of experience providing supervision. Previous experience and interest in providing couples and family counseling is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy as needed

  • Provide clinical training supervision for licensed professional counselors and/or student interns

  • Conduct diagnostic psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans

  • Participate in community outreach and events

  • Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of support groups, or seasonal programs for clients and families

  • Maintain timely up-to-date documentation utilizing our Electronic Health Record

  • Attend conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence

  • Work flexible hours

  • Work a minimum of either two evenings or one evening and one weekend day


​QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum educational level: Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. A certification in Couples and Family Therapy is ideal. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy that also possess a LPCC-S are encouraged to apply.

Minimum licensure requirements: A valid Ohio LPCC-S license.

Kelly’s Grief Center provides mental health services in a private non-profit setting. We specialize in grief therapy but also treat clients experiencing non-grief related mental health disorders. No client is turned away based on an inability to pay for services. We offer a flexible work environment where you can set your own schedule.
